YOUR CREW’S LOGBOOK
Fourteen letters. One local hero.
Use this iPad and the same Safari browser for every scan. Your crew’s progress saves here.
MISSION COMPLETE!
Welcome aboard, Captain’s Crew! ⚓
You found CAPTAIN SKINNER — the name of our local history hero!
Show your teacher this screen. Tell them one fact you learned and one kind thing your crew did.
Your teacher will give you a Little Town Adventures certificate to celebrate completing the trail!
Grown-ups: prepare the next voyage
Hide the same fourteen cards in new, accessible places each time. The codes identify the card, not its location. Keep within supervised school areas and do not block exits. Check school Wi-Fi and scan each card with a school iPad before the session.
Use one iPad per crew. Before handing it to the next crew, reset below. This clears only this browser’s logbook. No pupil accounts or names are needed. Staff can enable crew reporting below; counts then appear in the Little Town Adventures organiser dashboard.
Staff: count this crew
Optional reporting records a random crew code, card scans, dates and completion. Add crew size for an estimated participant total. Enable before the first scan. Use New crew between groups; repeat plays count as new sessions.
Hand out the printed Little Town Adventures certificates supplied for your school when each crew completes the trail.
A real captain. A story to discover.
The lost mailbag and challenges are invented for this game. The short facts come from Holyhead Maritime Museum and Cadw. The monument in your neighbourhood remembers Captain Skinner; our adventure stays at school.
